Welcome to the Hollingsworth East Elementary School website!

Hollingsworth East Elementary is a place for preschoolers through second graders to come to learn, to grow and to become excited about learning.  It is our goal to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment that challenges children to be their own personal best.  We strive to develop the “whole child” academically, socially, and emotionally.  Our highly-qualified staff works together in providing instruction as well as learning opportunities for the children to grow in all three areas.  We welcome the opportunity to come along side of our families in working together to serve each child.  Providing excellent service to our children and their families is of high importance to us and stands out as one of our school values.  It is our belief that by intentionally working together, students, parents, family members, staff and community members will be able to create success for every child.

Announcements

  • A calendar for East Elementary PTO events for the 2025-2026 school year.

  • A group of children sing joyfully, holding open books with musical notes above them.

    The first grade musical performance, The Very Hungry Catepiler,  will be on April 23rd at the Performing Arts Center in the evening from 6-7:30 pm. Group 1 will perform 6-6:30 and Group 2 will perfrom 7-7:30. Group 1: Fiemeyer, Myers, Dupont, and Miller. Group 2: Roberts, Stewart, Luther, and YPH. More information will be coming home with your student.

  • Four children sing into microphones, surrounded by musical notes.

    The Kindergarten musical performance, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, will be on May 8th in the evening at the Peforming Arts Center. Performance times are 6-6:30pm for Group 1, and 7-7:30 pm for Group 2. Group 1 is Campbell, Arend, Klapper, and Curry Group 2 is Mikesell, Hunt, Tully, Bulach, and YPH. More information will be coming home with your student.

    Mark your calendar for the Annual Father/ Daughter Dance at East Elementary for Friday, April 6th. More information will be coming home soon.
